Global Telesat Corp ("GTC") is a leading provider of asset tracking and monitoring solutions for governments and commercial users. GTC designs and builds custom made tracking and monitoring systems and devices using GSM, radio and RFID signals and specializes in providing services using the extensive Globalstar low orbit satellite network.
To enhance services for its customers, GTC has made a substantial investment in and owns a number of unique network infrastructure devices, known as appliqués, which provide the signal receipt and processing technology that enables and powers Globalstar’s Simplex Data Service. This service addresses the existing and ever growing market demand for a small and cost effective solution for receiving and processing data from remote locations. The small size and low battery requirement of the mobile custom designed devices which transmit data and which have been developed by GTC makes them attractive for use in applications such as tracking vehicles or asset shipments, monitoring unattended remote assets or mobile security.
GTC’s appliqués are located at a number of Globalstar satellite ground stations and provide service across Australia, Europe, Russia, and South America. Additionally, to further enhance global coverage of its services, GTC is currently constructing its own satellite ground stations in areas where no Simplex Data Service is currently offered by Globalstar.
In addition to providing industry specific tracking and monitoring devices, GTC can design, build and install custom made satellite tracking and monitoring ground station systems for installation anywhere in the world. Our customized ground station systems can collect information from unlimited devices within a radius of up to 2,000 miles and are particularly useful for governments, armed forces, disaster relief organizations or industrial users requiring a highly secure, precise and low cost method of asset tracking and monitoring in areas where the standard commercial Simplex Data Service is currently unavailable.
GTC is also a leading reseller of basic satellite related products such as satellite phones, terminals and airtime. GTC offers competitive pricing on airtime and equipment for use on the Globalstar, Inmarsat, Iridium and Thuraya satellite networks. By constantly monitoring competitors’ pricing, GTC intends to offer some of the lowest pricing available for the products and airtime it supplies.
